Asus ZenFone Max M2 is the successor of ZenFone Max M1 which was one of the best budget smartphone offerings from Asus. Asus ZenFone Max M2 is powered by the latest 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 Mobile Platform SoC with up to 4GB of RAM. This SoC delivers up to 40% higher CPU performance and 10% higher graphics all credits to the improved Andreno 506 GPU. The processor is power efficient, delivers a smooth and responsive experience with having any impact on the battery life.
Display:
The display on the smartphone is a 15.90cms (6.26) all-screen 19:9 HD+ display, it is the first model in the ZenFone series to use this display. Its 88% screen-to-body ratio lets users have an impressive next level viewing experience. Streaming videos, playing mobile games, browsing the web, users will find themselves having a great experience with visual joy.
The display also helps the smartphone to be remarkably compact and comfortable to hold, with just 7.7mm thick built in a gorgeous and sleek all-metal body. The display features a full-function notch which includes an LED flash, Earpiece, Camera, LED, Notification, Ambient and Proximity sensors.
Rear Cameras:
The ZenFone Max M2 come with dual-camera setup and has a 13MP f/1.8 wide-aperture main camera which captures detailed and clear shots in any situation. It is capable of shooting 4K videos along with EIS(Electronic Image Stabilization). The second camera sets in ‘bokeh’ effect make it easy to take natural-looking portraits with blurred backgrounds which make the subject stand out. The camera also supports some advanced AI scene detection which allows the user to concentrate on the subject and get perfect shots every single time, It can automatically recognize 13 types of scene and according to the setting optimize the photo for each shot.
Selfie Camera:
The ZenFone Max M2 has a front facing 8MP camera with f/2.0 along with a LED Flash which shoots amazing selfies in all lighting conditions. It can shoot videos up to 1080p. The brand has also said that the front camera will have EIS functionality that will allow shooting shake-free selfie video. The front camera also has Portrait mode functionality which allows shooting artistic bokeh selfies. The camera allows shooting flawless selfies with great beautification mode.
Battery:
Battery performance is an integral part of the ZenFone Max series. The new ZenFone Max M2 uses a high-capacity 4000mAh battery which is custom crafted to perform better with a slim body and delivers up to 33 days of 4G standby, 21 hours of video playback and upto 22 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing. The company claims that ZenFone Max M2 can give up to 8 hours of gaming and 35 hours of 3G talk time. So much of battery performance can deliver users more browsing and talk time. Using the smartphone all day long without worrying to find a power outlet is now possible with ZenFone Max M2.
Audio:
ZenFone Max M2 uses a five-magnet speaker with a metal voice coil. A major upgrade over the single-magnet speaker in the previous generation. Driven by a powerful NXP low-distortion smart amplifier for a crystal-clear sound which delivers more powerful and detailed sound ever before.
The rear fingerprint sensor can recognise up to 5 fingers and with Face unlock, the smartphone delivers a better security. The ZenFone Max M2 features a triple slot tray, combining dual 4G VoLTE SIM slot with microSD card slot which allows storage expansion up to 2TB.

Asus ZenFone Max M2 will be available in two variants, the 3GB/32GB for ₹.9,999/- and the 4GB/64GB variant is priced at ₹.11,999/- both the smartphone will be made available from Dec 20, 2018, exclusively on Flipkart.
