Asus ZenFone Max Pro to Launch in India on April 23, Will be made available via Flipkart

Asus ZenFone Max Pro will make its debut in India on April 23. Asus, the Taiwanese leader in smartphones and IT technology, and Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce marketplace, today announced a long-term strategic partnership that will see Flipkart selling Asus smartphones. Under this partnership, the ZenFone Max Pro will be the first handset which will go on sale at 12:30 pm on April 23. There have been no updates on the price of the smartphone.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro will come with Snapdragon 636 SoC and include some key specification like display size, resolution, aspect ratio, image sensors, battery capacity and an upgraded operating system.

Along with the launch of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro, Asus and Flipkart have signed a MoU to collaborate in developing new products especially focusing Indian market based on consumer insights. Asus and Flipkart will also extensively support each other in planning and execution of different marketing activities of Asus ZenFone models.

The first-generation of ZenFone were originally sold on Flipkart back in 2014. The partnership with Flipkart is one of the major steps towards strategic efforts by Asus to move deep into the Indian market for company’s further growth and position in the market.

To further embed itself as part of the Indian community, ASUS also announced support for digitizing India and aiding the digital education of the needy in Indian society through its CSR initiatives.

At the event, ASUS also displayed a complete lineup of new innovations since 2014 including smartphones, motherboards, gaming PC, high-end routers and even the first smart home robot Zenbo to demonstrate ASUS technology and innovation capabilities.
