Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, one the hottest and most selling device has got a permanent price cut of INR 1,000 in India. The Redmi Note 4, when launched, had changed the market for Xiaomi. It was selling like hot cakes. Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain through Twitter announced the price drop on the Note 4. Does this mean a new Redmi Note device is coming to India soon?

The price cut on the Redmi Note 4 has got down the price to INR 9,999. The Redmi Note 4 with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is now priced at INR 9,999 and the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant are priced at INR 11,999. The new price is been reflected on Mi.com as well as Flipkart. The largest e-commerce website Flipkart is also offering additional cashback discount on selected cards.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Specifications

The Redmi Note 4 was launched in January 2017. Since then its been still sold on a large scale. The smartphone is made available in 3 variants. The 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM with 32GB and 64GB internal storage options. The storage can be further expanded using microSD card up to 128GB. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 2.5D curved glass. The device now runs Android N with MIUI 9. The camera on the smartphone is a 13MP sensor at the back and 5MP front shooter. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the rear. The device supports 4G VoLTE. The handset packs a 4100mAh battery and comes in 3 colour variant and also a Blue colour which is limited in quantity.

Along with the price cut, Flipkart is also offering exchange discount and 5% additional discount to customers purchasing through Axis Bank credit card. You can also avail no-cost EMI option.
